Action
Last year Move Colorado concentrated its resources on defeating the 3 ballot measures that would have been catastrophic to Colorado’s economy and devastating to transportation, and then followed up that effort by keeping the Legislature from further eroding transportation funding. Priorities for 2011 include the following:
- Aggressively oppose any measures to reduce transportation funding
- Advocate, and brand a Sustainable Transportation Finance Solution
- Support Constitutional and Fiscal Reform Initiatives which help meet the need to prevent irresponsible ballot measures and address long term transportation funding needs

Continue to expand our Advocacy Network to build the Transportation Citizen Base to support future transportation finance ballot measure

Realize the full potential of Committee programming & complete the Strategic Plan
As a new Administration takes hold, Move Colorado has emphasized no further erosion of funds already committed to transportation, affirmation of implementation of SB09-228, accelerated implementation of the enterprise potential of HPTE & the Bridge Enterprise, and the need to address a sustainable revenue source for transportation.
