Past Move Colorado Member Meetings

Our monthly membership meetings feature discussions about new and emerging issues in the industry and offer significant networking opportunities. We encourage our membership to get involved in our leadership, whether at the meeting, committee or board-level.  Recordings and/or materials from these meetings are available to all members in good standing. 2025:

2024:

  • Amy Ford, Executive Director of the City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, who asked our members for their insight on the transportation challenges in Denver 
  • Jim Starling from the Denver International Airport discussed the ongoing improvements and expansions at the third-busiest airport in North America 
  • Andy Karsian, General Manager of the Front Range Passenger Rail reviewed their plans and progress for 2024 
  • Sarah Boden from Spare Labs discussed micro-transit opportunities  
  • Michael Davies, RTD’s Government Relations Officer reviewed legislative priorities for Denver Metro transit 
  • State Representative Meg Froelich participated in an end-of-session roundtable discussion 
  • Members of the Colorado Transportation Investment Office discussed tolling, express lanes, and safety on our highways 
  • Darcy Kitching, TDM Outreach Specialist at Boulder Transportation Connections and the Boulder Chamber presented on land use and transportation
  • Laura Perry, Assistant City Manager. and her team from the City of Aurora shared the city’s plans for transportation

2023:

  • Marie Logsden and Chris Wacinski of Ecological Materials Company presented on the practical use of waste plastic to improve asphalt performance
  • Natriece Bryant of the State of Colorado discussed the intersections between transportation and housing policy
  • Andy Karsian, General Manager of Front Range Passenger Rail shared updates on efforts to connect the Front Range with train service
  • Representative Stephanie Vigil (HD-16) and Lone Tree Mayor Jackie Millet discussed state and local perspectives on land use and transportation
  • Andrew Iltis from Downtown Denver Partnership shared plans and updates for the 16th Street Mall

  • David Krutsinger, Transit Director, City and County of Denver, shared the city’s plans for expanding transit
  • Marsha Nelson, Chief Equity Officer, CDOT, updated the membership on Equity360
  • Ron Papsdorf at DRCOG discussed regional transportation planning

  • Mike Washington from the Office of U.S. Senator Michael Bennet presented on the Federal Infrastructure Package and what the U.S. Senate bill means for Colorado
